Taken en verantwoordelijkheden - Global Payroll Manager

As the Global Payroll Manager of this organization, you will be responsible for the payroll operations across the whole Group. Your role is focused on delivering an accurate, efficient, responsive Payroll service to the employees in all the countries in which the organization operates. You will drive process efficiency and ongoing improvement through technology, and collaborate with partners and vendors. You will be able to manage and deliver regular monthly payrolls, handle complex share transactions, and partner with our tax, audit and legal colleagues. You’ll be able to operate effectively and deliver results in a high growth, complex and very dynamic employment environment where there is a large amount of variation in the way Payroll and HR operations are delivered.
As the successful candidate, you will manage all Payroll processes, operations, vendors, and lead a small global team. You are reliable, responsive, and self-motivated, and able to work with sensitive and confidential information. You have strong leadership and excellent interpersonal skills.

Key responsibilities:

  • Manage and optimize the global payroll platform and process, with a focus on an accurate, compliant and reliable output, including benefits and LTI processing, and timely delivery of payroll to employees;
  • Lead and co-ordinate activities between various partners across the group such as Payroll, HR teams, Global Mobility, the Share Office, Finance and other departments, ensuring an accurate data flow and maintenance of employee data;
  • Partner with Group Tax to ensure that shares payments are processed and taxed correctly. Co-ordinate with other country payrolls as required;
  • Own the operational relationship with third party payroll service providers;
  • Review and approve monthly Payroll data and reconciliations, and provide data and documentation to Group Finance as needed;
  • Lead the accurate and timely processing of year-end activities, including coordination with payroll services providers, and preparation of data necessary for the filing of payroll-related tax returns;
  • Ensure payroll processing and accounting activities comply with internal and external audit requirements, and partner with auditors as needed;
  • Ensure adequate internal controls are in place on payroll systems, and keep up to date with compliance requirements for new and existing tax and other related legislation;
  • Lead global payroll and shares office projects and improvement initiatives to better enable efficient, accurate and timely processing of Global Payroll.
